Freelance Projects Overview
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to work on a variety of freelance projects alongside my main professional commitments. Here, I present some of my most recent and noteworthy freelance endeavours:
Brand Identity for Sr. Marqués
In 2021, I collaborated with Sr. Marqués, a premium pet accessory brand that focuses on high-quality, natural products for dogs, made entirely in Spain. My role in the project was to develop the brand identity, blending elegance with sustainability. The aim was to reflect the brand’s ethos of providing luxurious, yet eco-conscious items for pets, through minimalist yet refined visual elements. The result was a sophisticated and cohesive brand that resonates with pet owners who value both style and environmental responsibility.
In 2022, I had the opportunity to design the cover for Tiempo de Purga, a novel by Tamara Mahillo. The book required a visual concept that encapsulated its intense and gripping narrative. The cover design focused on balancing subtlety with boldness, using colours and imagery that evoke the underlying themes of catharsis and emotional release, which are central to the story. The result was a visually compelling cover that invites readers into Mahillo’s immersive world.
Tiempo de Purga
Also in 2023, I collaborated with Tamara Mahillo once again to create the cover for Rey de Reyes, a novel steeped in history and grandeur. The cover needed to represent the epic scale of the narrative, and so I worked closely with Mahillo to craft a visual that conveyed regality, power, and the timelessness of the story. The final design used rich tones and symbolic elements to draw readers into the majestic world she created.
